Spanish Teacher Accused Of Showing Up To School Drunk, Pissing Himself, And Attacking A Student

NYDN – No mas. That’s what officials at one Connecticut school district said after a Spanish teacher showed up to class drunk and incontinent, WTNH reported. The unnamed teacher was removed in the middle of his second class of the day at Southington High School on Thursday after his sad state was reported to administrators. While Southington Principal Martin Semmel said the teacher behaved in an “unprofessional manner,” he declined to detail exactly what happened. Semmel sent a note to parents, but one anonymous insider told WTNH the incident is much worse than the school has acknowledged.They said he was a Spanish teacher who came into school fairly intoxicated to the point where he soiled himself; he wet himself,” the source told WTNH. “The kids were videotaping it and he proceeded to pin a student up against the wall. He did make physical contact with a student.” The source also said the teacher was escorted from the school in handcuffs, but not by police.

Look, every job has its liberties. Government workers sit on their hands and get every holiday you can think of off work. Pretty sure they invent new holidays every year just so they can do even less work. WacArnold’s workers get to feed their children a few free french fries every goddamn night. And Spanish teachers can get sauced and punch the clock every morning. Because literally no one gives a fuck about Spanish class in high school. You’re in complete control of the curriculum. You can slur your words and make up bullshit and they’ll just think you’re using a spicy accent. All this guy is guilty of is taking his liberties a few tequila shots too far. Who hasn’t done that? We’ve all been there. So let’s pump the brakes on the handcuffs here. People make mistakes. Guy was just taking his liberties. If a brewery makes 10,000 beers a day and a worker drinks 45 a day off the assembly line, does that make him an asshole? No. Not at all. So what if this teacher pissed and shit his pants a little?
