This Dude With A FANTASTIC Accent Trolling His Girlfriend With Puns At Ikea Deserves To Go Viral

I saw this one on a few blogs this morning and thought, “Eh, that sounds really corny.” And it wasn’t even my natural love of puns that brought me to love this video but how awesome that dude’s accent is doing it. I think he’s got to be from New Zealand because he sounds like Jemaine Clement from Flight of the Conchords but wherever he’s from, I loved every second. And honestly it was kind of cute how the chick warmed up to it as it went on. Going from finding jokes corny or annoying to adorable to the point that she’s making this face:

That’s pretty adorable to me, corny as that may be. As last week’s KFC Radio proved, I may not know much about making functional relationships but I know what they look like and this is one. And good for Ikea, bringing a couple together for once instead of tearing them apart like when you try to put together a futon for the guest room and can’t get the plastic nails to hammer into the hole so you throw pieces of it across the room and she asks why it’s taking so long and why can’t you assemble things like her father used to, aren’t you a real man, and you take a long sip from a glass of whiskey neat while regretting every decision that led to this moment. The yin and yang that is Ikea.

Here’s a song from this dude’s soundalike, Jemaine, for comparison’s sake:
