Top Prospect Trea Turner Has Been Called Up To The Nats

Finally. I’ve been pining for this promotion all year. One of the best prospects in baseball has been tearing up the minors while we’ve been watching Ian Desmond suck for 90% of the year. Even with Desmond playing much better of late, Trea adds a different dynamic this team needs. He brings a ton of speed and the ability to get on base to the top of the lineup, if Matt Williams decides to start him. I would guess Trea won’t start immediately, but if Desi falls into another slump where he goes 1/20 for a week, it could be Trea Time. This could be the spark the Nats need down the stretch. Could not be happier to finally have him in DC.
