And I thought to myself, good. If there’s one thing people in this country care about, it is not the intricacies of the federal government. It’s sports. And more specifically, college football. So despite congress dilly dallying around, stomping their feet, and not coming out of their rooms for dinner, Navy and Air Force will play in Annapolis this Saturday. And thank goodness. These kids sign up to serve the country, the least we can do for them is let them play a quick game of football on Saturday.

But then just 5 minutes later, this was tweeted:

And I thought to myself, awful. Let them play!
