Kevin Stefanski Is Asking Browns Fans To Behave Themselves Enough Tonight To Still Be There In The 4th Quarter

Hey Stefanski, with all due respect, how about you just COACH THE TEAM! I know you're hands-down the NFL's Coach of the Year after taking this team and our 1st 2nd 3rd 4th quarterback to the playoffs (and still potentially the #1 seed in the AFC), but let's keep your advice giving to the players in the locker room.

Browns fans: I don't want one person in that stadium, let alone in the Muni Lot tailgating, thinking they need to "behave themselves". You have not been given an opportunity like tonight; you have earned it. When this team beats the Jets and clinches a playoff berth, I want you to celebrate like you're a fan base that has seen 1-15, seen 0-16, seen Johnny and Weeden and Brady Quinn and Kizer and Dilfer and Frye and etc etc etc, and been to the postseason a grand total of TWICE since the Browns returned to Cleveland in 1999. So yeah, Stefanski wants the Browns fans on their best behavior? Browns fans response to Kevin Stefanski:

And let me say this, Kevin. I do believe your "Gets Us" factor is off the charts, and despite things I may or may not have blogged in the past, I wouldn't trade you for any coach in the NFL right now. But the fact that you think telling Browns fans to behave is going to work shows an extreme lack of awareness. If anything, fans in the Muni Lot are going to take this as a challenge to black the fuck out EARLY and OFTEN. On the other hand, I guess there is a chance that Stefanski is slightly smarter than me and knew this in the first place. Telling them to behave will only make them behave worse, making our welcoming crowd even more hospitable for the visiting Jets.

Either way, you just have your team ready to play, Coach. We'll be ready ourselves.
