JOB OPENING: The Public Is Now Able To Apply For Iowa's Offensive Coordinator Vacancy

Is this standard protocol or is this out of the ordinary? Like, when Jim Harbaugh is forced to resign this off-season, will Michigan actually/physically/literally post the Head Coach position.....? Because if this has to be posted because it's a public university, then you can just file this story away into the "Funny" category. But if there isn't a law that says they had to do this and they posted it anyways, then you can put this into the "Fucking Hilarious" box.

I mean, it's not even just on the University website. It's on fucking Indeed.com:

Whoever made these qualifications needs to get their priorities in order. Gotta have a Bachelors Degree. Gotta have 3 years in the NCAA or 5 years at a major high school. But no mention about the ability to call an offense that averages more than 16 points per game??? The fact that Iowa is 10-3 and is 4th worst in the entire country in points scored has to be the most appalling statistic in the history of the sport. Or maybe it's that they score 16 a game, only give up 13 a game, but win so many close games that they're 10-3.

Anyways, here's the Job Description to see if you're interested, and here's the Link to Apply if you are. They are reviewing applications from any and all candidates, and uhhh, any and all candidates with interest are applying:

I get that 99.99% of these people are joking with their applications, but I also know that there's someone out there that's piecing together his Madden resume and making his best case for this job. "Averaged 72.45 ppg over a 10-year Dynasty in NCAA 2005, beating 3 Top 10 teams on the way to the 2009 BCS National Championship".

But then again, why not consider that guy? He clearly calls a better game than their last OC. And iff that defense is going to hold 6 teams to ten points or below, then all they need is to get to 20 a few times a year and boom, they're in the playoff.
