Ohio State Fans Walk 19 Miles In 6 Hours To Spell Out "OHIO" On Their GPS
B1G Network – There are dedicated college football fans… And then there is this.
According to Reddit user @orweezy, a group of Ohio State football fans mapped out a path and walked 19 miles to spell out ‘Script Ohio’ on Google Maps. The best part about the whole journey? The fans made sure to ‘Dot The I’ at Ohio Stadium.
Now, that’s dedication!

My coworker friends and [I] thought it would be cool to start off the football season by mapping and walking the Ohio Script this past weekend and using the stadium as the “I” dotting. Would anyone be interested in doing this with us next year? Maybe even as a fund raising event for a good cause.
LOL, we got like 8 miles into it and thought…. “you know this would have been better if we biked it” It took us 6 and a half hours of walking but we made a few bar stops so from 6:30am through 2:45pm. We were doing a work competition about fitness and the metrics used was time, so we walked everywhere and I think we just carried it over. I would rather bike it next time for sure.
…
You know how I’m always saying “college football fans are the absolute best” and “college football rivalries are the most amazing thing ever” and that the weirder, crazier things the fans do, the better? Well, it would appear we’ve really pushed the limits of those statements here. Reached a sort of tipping-point if you will. Couple of Ohio State fans spending their entire day walking around to form the shape of “OHIO” on their phone GPS. Not for a good cause, not to raise money for a local Ohio charity, not to set any sort of Guinness World Record. Just because they’re super into Ohio State football. Oooooook fellas. However you want to pass the time.
At least they stopped at some bars?
PS – 15 days.
