College Baseball Opening Day is Only Three Days Away & The SEC is LOADED Yet Again

Now that the Big Game has come and gone, it is time to focus on what is really important and that is Opening Day in College Baseball on Friday!

There's nothing quite like freezing cold baseball in mid February to get everyone in the baseball spirit.

Not surprisingly SEC teams dominate the top 10 once again.

A whopping 7 of the top 10 are from the SEC!

LSU is preseason #1 after destroying the transfer portal adding superstars Paul Skeenes (Air Force) and Tommy Tanks (NC State) who set the all time freshman HR record with 28 last year. Led by All American Dylan Crews, this lineup is super deep and will score A TON of runs.

LSU also has a a bunch of arms that can throw in the mid 90s. The only question is about the starting pitching rotation after Grant Taylor (top 15 prospect) was announced out for the season with a UCL injury.

Tennessee is #2 after an absurd 53 Win season last year. They dominated the SEC regular season and won the SEC Tournament in Hoover. The Vols did everything a team could possibly do but make it to Omaha for the CWS. They will be looking for payback after a heartbreaking Super Regional loss to Notre Dame.

The Vols were one of the greatest heel teams not just in college baseball but in sports history last year. The entire college baseball world celebrated when they lost. I gotta say I respect it. They were great for growing the game.

This team is stacked again behind a dominant starting pitching rotation of Chase Dollander, Chase Burns and Drew Beam. They are going to have to reload the lineup some.

The Ole Miss Rebels are #4 after shocking the world winning the National Title in Omaha! I still do not believe it 8 months later.

The Rebels lost a ton of leadership in Tim Elko, Kevin Graham and Justin Bench but should still have a strong squad behind ace lefty Hunter Elliot, All American SS Jacob Gonzalez and power hitting OF Kemp Alderman.

Texas A&M is the 4th SEC Team in the top 5 after winning the SEC West and making the final Four in Omaha in the 1st year under Coach Schloss who came over from TCU.

The Aggies utilized a patient approach at the plate to exhaust pitchers and score a ton of runs. The lineup has depth and Jack Moss might be the best pure hitter in the country. The question for them is can the starting pitching improve?

Florida, Arkansas and Vandy are the other three SEC teams in the preseason top 10.

College baseball lines will be up on the Barstool Sportsbook all season and I will be releasing daily plays. It might be the most fun sport to wager on as the games are bananas. Deposit now to be ready for Opening Day on Friday!
