NYC Mailman Caught By Feds Moving Kilos Of Coke Through His Mail Vehicle

Letter carrier Zarwardy Lewis, 35, was charged with drug distribution in Brooklyn Federal Court on Friday after the US Postal Service’s Office of Inspector General said he delivered at least three packages of cocaine to addresses across Brooklyn in December.

This cat who began his job with the USPS in 2013 was allegedly using his job as a mailman to mask himself moving weight around the boroughs of New York City. In further inspection of the story Mr. Lewis was transporting multiple kilos. Now in my history of researching crime I can probably tell you the street level cost of any narcotic ever sold. A kilo in New York on the street goes for about 30k. The supply must of looked at what they were paying this guy and laughed.

Every time Lewis dropped off one of the parcels, he received $500 electronic payments from a woman named Evangeline Nery, according to court papers.

Sometimes you have to just hear this stories and feel bad for some of these people. You throw away a pretty decent job which down the road will give you some pretty nice benefits and perks to move a couple kilos for 500 a trip?

If you're going to jump into the world of being a mule for the drug trade at least make it worth it. We remember for instance the film The Mule which is based on a true story.
