One Of The Most Popular Memes Of All Time "Popeyes Kid" Is Now A 330 Pound Offensive Lineman At D2 Lake Erie College And Is Ready For His NIL Deal!

I LOVE updates like this. We have seen this kid's face more times than our own mother's (we should log off a little more). He has been tweeted as a reaction no fewer than 4 billion times. And less we forget, he's an actual person, somewhere out there. That's what is crazy, right? Not to get overly-psychological, but it's pretty nuts every person, every meme, everything we see on the internet also has a backstory we have no idea about. This kid was filmed for 7 seconds inside a Popeyes a decade ago, and just continued living life, eventually going to Lake Erie college to play football. I'm not one to say people "deserve" anything, but Dieunerst Collin DESERVES a Popeyes NIL deal, stat! Guy is an internet legend and would be the perfect spokesman for the 8 piece. Every so often, like once in a Haley's Commet, the internet agrees on something, and I hope this is next in line.

Dieunerst Collin has given us so much, so maybe it's time we (we meaning Popeyes) gives back. If there is a brain in the Popeyes board room, they will have him as the star of their next ad campaign, pronto. I was actually thinking about this last night- no celebrity has ever got me to buy a phone, fly an airline, or anything like that. I buy a new iPhone when my screen is cracked and I fly whatever airline is the cheapest. But when I see a clever ad campaign for FOOD...well buddy, I can be swayed. Danny DeVito cracks me up in those Jersey Mikes sub commercials. Burger King has been crushing it with their "Beeeeeekay, have it your way" jingle jangle recently. Think I haven't been craving a Whopper the last 2 months? Think again. So if I see Dieunerst Collin selling Popeyes, you better believe there will be Popeyes in my future.
