Jeff Bezos is *Officially* Interested In Buying The Commanders...But There's Still The Chance Snyder Won't Sell To Him

And there we go. That's it. The proof that it's not all just been conjecture and rumors, but Jeff Bezos is in fact interested in buying the Commanders. Until now we hadn't actually heard from him yet, it was simply just assumed that he wanted to buy the team. But this morning he confirmed it with a smile.

And honestly, why wouldn't be be interested? What's $7 billion to a guy who is planning on giving away $124 billion?

He could write a $7 billion check and still have to squint at his computer screen to notice a difference in his networth. He's not like us, refreshing our Bank of America account on payday to make sure we can pay off the bar tab from the weekend. If I had to guess, he's lit at minimum $1 million cash on fire, just to say he did it. I would also assume he's eaten human meat before too. Just weird bazillionaire things because they are so bored of reality they have to keep pushing the envelope until they've done it all. It's why all the rich people get caught up in...nefarious activities. Everything normal bores them.

But I digress. Bezos will definitely be the highest bidder for the team, it'll come down to if Snyder wants to sell it to him. Let's not forget, it's still his decision. He could take less money from someone else out of spite, and I wouldn't put it past him. It's well documented they have a feud and rumor has it Bezos has been planning out Snyder's demise for a while. All rumors, but nothing would shock me.

Honestly, I do NOT think Bezos will end up buying the team for that exact reason. Snyder has been taking a lot of L's recently, and if he could motherfuck Bezos, I think he takes the chance. The question is though, would he take $6 billion instead of $7 billion to do that? When you read it on the computer screen it doesn't seem that big of a deal, but we are talking about a $1 billion loss just out of spite. If Snyder does that, it would be the first time I have ever respected him. Losing out of a billy just to fuck someone else over is so next level you'd have to simply tip your cap to him.
