"We Suck Cause We Suck" - Packers CB Rasul Douglas Gave It To Us Straight As To What's Wrong In Green Bay

Call me a sucker for loving honesty, but Rasul Douglas telling it how it is to the Green Bay media was just what I wanted to hear. No more of this sugarcoating, optimistic bullshit that it's going to turn around. Don't tell me about the schedule and the London game throwing all this out of sorts. The Packers suck cause they suck and nothing else. Rodgers has played like shit, but honestly hasn't taken the blame on himself enough. They haven't put together a complete game all year. It's an unmitigated disaster that falls on the players, the coaches, and the front office.  

Five straight losses looking down the barrel at Dallas (America's Game of the Week), Tennessee (TNF) on a short week, and then in Philly (SNF). Three tough opponents on a big stage where you can't afford anymore losses. Very real chance they lose all three considering how banged up they are now. Not using that as an excuse, just explaining the reality of the situation. Rashan Gary is out for the year. Romeo Doubs is out 4-6 weeks. Cobb is still on the IR. Aaron Jones is hampered. Stokes is banged up. Bahktiari plays like half the game. Rodgers' thumb is still an issue and might not be fixed until the offseason. I don't even know what this offense is going to look like on Sunday against Dallas. 

This is uncharted territory for Packers fans. There hasn't been a team this bad and this hopeless in a long fucking time. They're closer to the cellar of the NFC than a playoff spot. Did we have this coming to us after so many years of being in contention and running away with the NFC North? Sure, but it still sucks major balls. Watching these games is going to be bizarre. It'll be even weirder when they're out of playoff contention and we're watching Jordan Love to see what he's got as an audition for the future. Fun times ahead!
