NFL Week 3...Lets Grab An EARLY Winner

It's been a great start for me betting college football. It's also been a great start with the pros as I started last week with a 2-0 right out of the gate. Let's get after it here in Week 3.

I'm heading to Nashville for Raiders/Titans. This game is obviously a throw your kitchen sink out type of game as both of these teams are 0-2. But I also think both of these teams are better than 02 and not just basement dwellers..

Las Vegas played right with the Chargers Week 1, and although the defense has struggled a bit the offense has had no problems. They also blew a huge lead in an improbable win against Arizona last week, a game in which I had the OVER, which came in.

Derek Carr and this offense look great. Davante Adams has been a huge upgrade and the offensive stats show it. Vegas is averaging over 7 yards a pass attempt and their red zone percentages look a lot better. They also still have Darren Waller but will be without Hunter Renfrow tomorrow and Josh Jacobs has been held in line so far. There are some concerns on the defense, Arizona averaged over 5 yards a carry against this defense though and as I said last week I don't think this secondary is good.

The Titans are off a disaster of a game. They couldn't seem to run the ball, throw the ball or do much of anything on offense against Buffalo. They looked stale and seem to be really just missing that spark. Letting AJ Brown walk is looking like a major issue and the offensive line was a mess and now it's compounded as my Barstool coworker Taylor Lewan is injured and out for the year. A speedy recovery to him. Derrick Henry is still a great back though and I have been impressed at times by Treylon Burks and we know Robert Woods will get going at some point with his new team. They also are strong up front and have a home game here as a desperate team.

This is still a team that has a great run defense, a QB who finishes drives with TD's (one of the best in NFL last few seasons) and has a great running back. The Titans also get back Kristian Fulton who should help in the secondary.

Since the start of 2020, the Raiders are 8-10 ATS on the road. This is an early start for them too in the Central time zone, so they will be playing a bit earlier than normal. I think we see a Titans team at home throw the entire playbook at a Raiders team that as usual is allergic with the lead. I am throwing away the games against the Bills. We all know how good Buffalo is and I think after a great week of practice with plenty of soul searching the Titans play well here. I think we're getting plenty of value in a team I make the favorite at home.

I bet Titans +2 here on the Barstool Sportsbook.
