The Norfolk Tides Wore Ridiculous(ly Incredible) Spongebob Uniforms, Raised Over $8,000 For The United Way, And Have One More Jersey To Auction Off
My buddy/big time Stoolie Joe Gregory is an overachiever and the GM of the Norfolk Tides and VP of the Norfolk Admirals minor league hockey team. Last week the Tides wore Spongebob jerseys, which are the epitome of minor league baseball at it’s finest. I blog all the time about minor league hockey and baseball gimmick jerseys, and these are just so ridiculous and incredible at the same time you just have to tip your cap. And all for a good cause too, because they auctioned them off and raised $8,200 for the United Way, and still have one more on eBay, autographed by the entire team. BarstoolRDT is too poor to win the auction, so you can rub it in his face by winning it and tweet him a picture of it every day, all while raising money for a good cause. And you can probably write it off on your taxes too (or something, who really knows how taxes work).
