My Favorite Props For Super Bowl LVI

The Super Bowl is one of the best days of the year, but also arguably the funnest gambling day of the year. People bet on everything from the color of the gatorade bath at the end, to the national anthem length, to the coin toss. I assembled some of my favorite props and even put together a fun single game parlay for the people.

Coin Toss: TAILS (-103)

They say Tails never fails. Well while that's not 100% accurate, it is 53% accurate.

Odell Beckham Jr. OVER 62.5 receiving yards (-109). OBJ is averaging 78.7 yards per game in the playoffs and he's gotten better each round, I like him to continue to climb. The number feels safe to me as in the last two games, he's got 15 catches on a whopping 19 targets. If he can see near double digit target volume, it's hard to imagine him not crushing this number.

Joe Mixon OVER 61.5 rushing yards (-113)

Whenever I think about what makes sense and recent history, two things stand out to me. 1) Its that if the Bengals drop back to pass a ton, they will make it be playing right into the Rams hands. The battle in the trenches tips the scales heavily in the Rams favor and Cincinnati would be wise to try and not only be balanced, but be run heavy. 2) The game I can't get out of my head is Week 4, Rams vs. Cardinals. Arizona pounded both James Conner and Chase Edmunds to the tune of 30 carries for 170 yards and 2 TDs. While that was a long time ago and the Rams have since made some personnel additions like adding Von Miller and Eric Weddle, they can still be run on. And Mixon is the guy to do it. He's averaging 63.3 rushing yards per game in the playoffs, but I think they have to go more run-heavy, so I like this Mixon prop.

Joe Mixon OVER 90.5 total yards (-112)

This goes hand-in-hand with the rushing yardage as I could see him smashing it. It all goes back to logical gameplanning and with the Bengals being at a deficit in the trenches, the easiest way to slow down the pass rush is with the screen game. While he was somewhat underutilized for most of the season, Mixon has turned it on as of late averaging 5.2 catches per game in his last five contests.

Joe Mixon to score an a Touchdown (-109)

Mixon has 17 total TDs in 19 games and I am piling on his props for this Sunday.

I added these props together with the Rams 1st half line (-2.5). Their post-season +/- for the first half is +35 through three games. Meanwhile the Bengals is -1. I like the Rams to lead by at least a FG at half. Then I moved the line and took an inflated UNDER at 57.5 points. I bet this before I flew out to California, but the odds are even better now. You can bet this single game parlay and get it at +3300. *You just have to add in Joe Mixon's total yards and Odell Beckham Jr.'s receiving yards, both of which are lowered and with better odds than when I took them.

We'll be doing some fun stuff including a prop stream on either Twitter Spaces and/or Twitch/Discord with myself, Mintzy and likely Smitty as well on Super Bowl Sunday, but remember to get your bets in early people!
