Former USMNT Player Herculez Gomez Delivered An Unbelievable Rant Calling Out Gregg Berhalter For Making This US Team Soft

What a beautiful rant from Herculez Gomez, who played and started in a World Cup. He went through the qualifying process. He understands what it's like to get there. This isn't a random dude just running his mouth. He also used the word that everyone fears, no matter the sport. Soft. Not exactly shocking a guy with the name Gregg (with multiple g's) is deemed soft. Feels like it comes with the territory with the name there. 

He's not wrong either. This team is good. This team has a ton of talent. But the fact they don't have this sort of killer mentality is the biggest downfall to them. Part of that is the players, but it's also Gregg. Like Gomez says, why not have John Brooks in this window? Why not have a couple of guys that know what it's like to go through it and how to deal with shit. That pays off in the locker room, especially with a younger roster. Hell he's not the only one to say something similar.
