Jimmy Rollins Gets A Nice, Long, And Deserved Standing O From The Philadelphia Faithful

Someone had the audacity to tweet at me if Jimmy Rollins was going to get boo’d by the Philly crowd. Um…yeah, Jimmy might have had his off-kilter moments in this city and may be playing for another team, but let’s not forget the facts. The all-time Phillies hits leader, 2007 MVP, 2008 World Series Champion who became a mainstay in this city in July of freaking 2001 should never get hostile treatment in Philadelphia. The man is Wall, and possibly Hall of Fame material. There’s nothing but respect for J-Roll from the most knowlegable sports fans in the game and if anyone thinks otherwise they’re either an idiot or an asshole. Possibly both.
