Jake Paul Made Me Look Like The Smartest Human Being On Planet Earth

Am I a genius or am I a genius? I know no one in the god forsaken twittersphere or comment section is gonna give me any credit because Jake Paul has completely broken their brains and they refuse to give him (or me) any credit but anyone who’s read or listened to me talk about this fight knows I predicted it perfectly. I talked about Paul by decision numerous times on Picks Central and gave it out +1000 in this video filmed in the middle of last week. Crazy good CLV by me (closing line value for all you jabronis) to grab it at +1000 before it slid all the way down to +600 the day of the fight.

All joking and gloating aside, this fight opened Jake Paul‘s eyes up quite a bit and I’m not nearly as bullish about his boxing acumen after seeing his performance last night. He definitely won the fight no doubt about it but did he look impressive? Relatively to his experience fighting compared to Woodleys you could say yes but the best attribute he showed was that he could take a punch and not completely fold over. He got rocked, got tired and was able to bite down on his mouth piece, dig deep and fightt back which I give him a lot of credit for. His boxing on the other hand looked OK at best agaisnt a guy in Woodley who is not a good boxer. If he fought a legit boxer right now I think he’d be in trouble, even against a guy like Tommy Fury with only 7 fights under his belt. With that being said to give Woodley 5 of the 8 rounds like one of the judges did is absolutely preposterous considering some of those round he landed just a couple punches. Jake Paul did what he needed to do landing jabs, keeping Woodley off of him and won the fight by scoring points and not getting hit largely due to Woodley‘s inability to lets his hands go and land jabs. Paul was more active, landed more punches and in my opinion clearly won atleast 5 of the 8 rounds. I think Woodley really only won the 4th and 8th round but you could maybe give him a coin flip 7th round.

People may think I’m a Jake Paul dick rider but I call it how I see it and I’ve made a shit ton of money betting on Jake Paul in these last three fights. Hitting a +1000 was a fantastic way to end my week. What Jake Paul does next? Who knows. I think he even was smart enough to know he’d be in trouble right now against real boxers. Will we see a Woodley rematch? Maybe Tommy Fury? Those seem like the two most likely opponents as it stands right now. If he fights Tommy Fury next my action might end up on Fury......
