Catching Red Snapper and Turning it into Fresh Ceviche
Fresh ceviche is a mouth watering raw fish dish that is marinated in lemon and lime juice. The acidity from the juice "cooks" the raw fish. There's a variety of fish you can use to make ceviche, but in our case we went down to Matagorda, Texas to go off shore fishing about 40 miles out to catch a twelve man limit of red snapper. We fried half of the fish and made the rest into ceviche.
Ingredients we used:
Red snapper, 1 whole onion, 1 bundle of cilantro, 3 bottled lime & 1 bottled lemon juice, red pepper, ginger ale, 1 avocado
