PER A SOURCE: Marc-Andre Fleury Will Report To The Chicago Blackhawks

Look..it's been a bad week in Chicago. We've said way too many good byes so I am running with this scoop because we need a hello. Sounds like we are going to get one from the reigning Vezina Trophy winner, Marc-Andre Fleury. No idea how it came together. There was the report that Pittsburgh wasn't actually interested in a trade. Maybe Ryan Whitney got in his ear and told him that Chicago is bigger than Boston, cleaner than New York, rockets everywhere, great golf with a lake in the middle of the fucking city". Maybe it was "hey, do you want to play with Toews, Kane, and Seth Jones for 6 months for 7 million dollars". Maybe it was a combination. 

I have no idea the timeline for announcement. I trust the person who told me. I am running with it. We need some flowers on a day like this. If Toews is Toews, Jones is Jones, and Fleury is Fleury I feel pretty good about the Hawks making the playoffs now. Tough sledding with Colorado, Minnesota, Winnipeg, and Dallas, but I'll believe in this group on paper. Let's go.
