Mets 1st Round Pick Kumar Rocker Reportedly Has An Elbow Issue That's Holding Up The Team Signing Him

Ohhhhh, so THAT'S why Kumar Rocker fell into the Mets laps at 10! I guess crazed Mets fans can stop asking when Kumar Rocker is going to get to Queens to bolster the bullpen now.

I'm not freaking out though. It would've been nice if we could've locked up one of the most electric pitchers in college baseball today and waited until the winter for the first true dick measuring contest between Uncle Stevie and Scott Boras over Michael Conforto coming off a nightmarish season. However, we can bump that up a few months and have it take place directly after the trade deadline in the middle of a pennant race to ensure there is never a dull moment in Metsland. 

My admittedly very dumb fan brain says to sign Rocker, have him get whatever surgery he needs ASAP, and see him on the diamond next season or whenever he is ready. If the very smart supernerds that Steve Cohen brought in to run the team disagree, go with whatever they suggest then open an ice cold Coors Light, chill out, and get ready to watch the team that has been in first place for so long, I honestly can't even remember the last time they weren't at the top of the standings. #LFGM #InCohenWeTrust
