2x Former Lacrosse Player Chris Hogan Proves Once And For All That It's Easier To Play Pro Football Than Pro Lacrosse

It appears as if Chris Hogan's return to lacrosse is officially over after the now 2x former lacrosse player signed with the New Orleans Saints yesterday.

According to multiple reports, Chris Hogan used to play college lacrosse at Penn State for 4 years. After playing 4 years of DI lacrosse, he then spent one season playing college football at Monmouth University. And after only 1 year of college football, Hogan was able to begin his career as an NFL wide receiver. So just so everybody has the math figured out on that one, Chris Hogan couldn't make a pro lacrosse roster after 4 years of college lacrosse, but went on to make multiple NFL rosters after just 1 year of college football. It seemed like making it to the NFL was the easier route then, but nobody wanted to believe it.

Well now the proof is in the pudding. I never really understood that phrase. Pudding is delicious, no doubt about it. But never once have you sat down to enjoy a delectable bowl of pudding and thought to yourself, "yup, that all makes sense now". Bizarre phrase aside, Chris Hogan attempted to come back to lacrosse this summer. He went undrafted in the PLL entry draft, was picked up by Cannons LC, played in one or two games, was traded by the Cannons to the Whipsnakes, and I'm honestly not sure if he's played since. So after just 2 games, Chris Hogan's return to lacrosse is over and it's now onto his 2nd go around in the NFL.

This isn't me being biased as a lacrosse fan. This isn't opinion. These are objective facts. And the facts clearly state that even though Chris Hogan trained harder and longer to be a lacrosse player in his life, his professional lacrosse career ended after just 2 games. But his professional football career is on its 2nd go around with 2 Super Bowls to his name. Pro football is officially an easier career path than pro lacrosse. Facts are facts, and maybe that's why Chris Hogan was put on this Earth. To spread the truth.

P.S. - I'd like to take this time right now to formally announce my retirement from blogging about Chris Hogan. It was a great ride while it lasted, but I can't stay in this toxic relationship anymore. Fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again.
