Alexander Peralta, The Real Home Run Derby King, Hit 218 Homers In A Single Derby This Weekend. Your Move Pete Alonso.

*Stick with me here, let's just use our imagination and pretend that this is real and those numbers in the tweet are actually correct.*

Alright Pete Alonso, we found your next opponent for the Home Run Derby. Meet Alexander Peralta AKA "El Peo" from the Dominican Republic. My guy put on a damn show this weekend by hitting 218 home runs in this derby in the DR. Not only did he hit 218 bombs, he hit 179 straight in the first two rounds. An unbelievable performance that makes Josh Hamilton's night in New York look like child's play. Listen to that crowd, they loved it. Couldn't get enough of El Peo. They exploded on every pitch knowing damn right it was going 425 to left center. Now this doesn't look like your normal derby at all, they've got the L screen about 13 feet away from the plate. We're not getting a Dave Jauss performance from the pitcher either, he's all underhand tosses from that distance. Makes all the home runs even more impressive hitting them off those pitches. He doesn't even look tired either, you'd think after 179 homers you'd need a break or a gatorade or something, not Peralta. He just kept hitting homer after homer. He's my true Home Run Derby king, if Pete Alonso had any balls he'd head down there and take on El Peo on his own turf.

He played with the Pirates organization from 2004 to 2006 and was released in 2007, something tells me he still has something left in that bat. Someone in the MLB should step up and give this guy a shot, I just want to see him take some rounds of BP and hit a billion homers. The guy knows how to put on a show, 218 home runs in a single derby will turn some heads. Could sell a ton of tickets based off of people coming into town just to see the legendary home run hitter guy. I want to know what they did with all the baseballs he hit. Did they have to go get them? How many baseballs did they actually have? They probably had to stop the round to go fetch the balls from deep in the forest. After watching this performance and that swing I think I'd take this guy over prime Bonds.
