Kanye's Listening Event For "Donda" Broke All Previous Apple Stream Records With 3.3 Million Live Viewers

Source -Kanye West packed the house for his 'DONDA' listening party -- but he packed in a whole lot more than just that ... dude set a record on Apple that no artist has ever come near.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Ye's album event this past week at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta broke the Apple Music Global Livestream record ... with 3.3 million viewers who tuned in on their screens.

That's a heck of a lot more than the previous record, we're told, which was set by Gucci Mane and Jeezy in their highly-anticipated Verzuz battle earlier last year -- at a reported 1.8 million viewers. Kanye practically doubled the number as a solo act!

3.3 million people. 3.3 MILLION people tuned in to watch this lunatic dance around Mercedes-Benz Stadium dressed like Clifford the Big Red Dog with pantyhose on head, 42,000 of which were live in person. Here's some video from the event for those of you who haven't seen...

The worst part of the whole thing is that Kanye setting this record will only make him worse. It'll make him more obnoxious, more self-centered and somehow, if it's even possible, more narcissistic. I mean think about how big your ego has to be to want to fill a stadium with people just to listen to your album? An album that you told the world was going be released at midnight knowing full well you had no intention of putting it out until August 6th. That said, those are the qualities that make Kanye Kanye. He loves himself more than he loves anything else on earth.

He's been posting some super weird stuff on Instagram almost trolling people for wanting him to drop the album too...

What a freak. Not to mention that fact that he's moved into Mercedes-Benz Stadium to "finish the album" even though he already played it for four million people. Who knows. Maybe this entire thing is a publicity stunt to build hype for the actual release. I wouldn't put it past him considering how much time he spent with Kris Jenner. Now here's a skit that I feel sums up who Kanye West is as a person. Enjoy…
