Caeleb Dressel Won His First Gold Medal in Tokyo

Caeleb Dressel lead the relay in the 4x100m relay to win gold for the United States. The Medal is the first of many predicted for Dressel to win.

Swimming may seem boring to many, but can you blame me for trying to recapture the magic of the 2008 Beijing Olympics? That was a serious formative year of being a fan of sports. Back then you had Micheal Phelps, Usain Bolt, and a USA basketball team that was still embarrassed about 2004. At nine years old that was the year I really fell in love with the Olympics.

I am trying to figure out if the media is trying to sell Dressel and make a new Micheal Phelps or if he is actually going to be as good and win a bunch of medals. This first race was hard to tell because he was in a relay team and didn't even post the fastest time.

Hopefully, we are all witnessing history and can once again recapture that Micheal Phelps magic.

I am a huge America fan, Katie Ledecky has been pretty legendary and I root for her, but it is hard not to be excited for the Australian Titmus, watching her family going nuts for her after the upset.

I haven't seen a hopped up Australian like that since the guy who punched the kangaroo in the face.

Well back to the Olympics here's a Caeleb Dressel and Michael Phelps comparison. Dressel beats his time in this side by side.
