Justin Fields Has An Arm Like A Damn Rocket, A Cock Like A Burmese Python, And The Mind Of A God Damn Scientist

The video above was going around over the weekend. Just Bears quarterbacks leaving points off the board because even when they had time and made the right read(which was rare) they missed with these duck passes that landed harmlessly and painfully on the ground. No more. Those days are DONE. They're over. And thanks to the Cubs being officially dead and the Hawks being in complete and utter disarray, I am turning my attention to hope personified...Justin Fields. This article in yahoo made me all tingly even though I've seen quotes like this before

“His ability to transpose things and flip them in his mind, like the mental rotation? Not a lot of people have that,” Avery, who has worked with Fields since the quarterback was in ninth grade, told USA TODAY Sports. “That’s going to give his coaches a distinct advantage as they want to expand the playbook.

"If someone says he can't grasp the offense, that's probably one of the most false things I've ever heard about Justin. His memory, and it's not just me saying that: We've tested those things and Justin's memory is off the charts."

Mind of a god damn scientist is right. We've seen all the highlights at OSU. We know what he can do physically. It's comments like these that make me want to go into a coma until Fields is named the starter

I know what Nagy has said. I know that letting Fields get his feet wet and watch is probably prudent. I know they basically promised Dalton that he would be the starter when he signed. I know that Dalton has a history with Bill Lazor so his transition might be somewhat more smooth that a QB coming from a different system. I know all of that. BUT…if Fields picks up the playbook as quickly as all of these mental acuity doctors and coaches are saying and he is effectively on par or close to it with Dalton…how the fuck can't you play him as soon as possible?

This video by Brett Kollman got me all gassed up

22 minutes. The beginning of which was agonizing. The rest got me tingly. I don't know who Brett Kollman is or what his qualifications are but he said things I liked and said them with authority. I just want to get to week 1. I mean week 1 of the preseason. I want live reps. I want to see our beautiful boy slinging it everywhere and pulling it down when it's not there. The smartest, fastest, most accurate, best QB this city has ever seen
