Rough Day On The Mound For Tigers Pitcher Beau Burrows As He Literally Threw Up On The Field

Oh boy, we've all been there Beau. You know you're gonna puke, you know it. Can feel it in the pit of your stomach and it's just a matter of time. Beau Burrows happened to be on the mound of a major league game when it happened to him this afternoon. Not a very productive day for him on the mound, 1 2/3 innings, 2 hits, 4 earned runs, 2 walks, and 3 Ks. He held it in for the most part, but then it got to a point where it was inevitable, he was going to puke all over himself. Once you see the cheeks swell up you know it's going to be a bad time. This happened to me once in Greene Turtle in Towson, chugged a tequila sunrise and it was over from that point. Who knows if it was a stomach bug or heat exhaustion or what, but he ended up dumping out his lunch on the field. Grounds crew had to do a little clean up and they took him out of the game, probably the right move.
