I’ve said it once. I’ll say it again. And I’ll probably say it at least 69 million more times before I die. Going to a soccer game in any country that isn’t the USA is the most dangerous and idiotic thing anyone can do. Eagles fans may be the most hated in the NFL but have we ever ran out onto the field after the Cowboys tried pulling some bullshit stunt like this? Not once, not ever. Meanwhile we’ve got full blown chaos with what sounds like gunshots and molotov cocktails being launched every which direction over a little slide tackle in a “friendly” match here between a team from Bulgaria and a team from Israel. Or in other words, a typical Sunday in Bulgaria. It’s lunacy I tell ya. And this is one of the first times that I really thought soccer players need to stop being such pussies. If you’re playing at any level in any country other than America, you have to assume that this kind of shit can happen at any moment of any game. You can’t just run away like a little bitch because you have a few glass bottles being thrown at your dome. Man up, handle the riot like you’ve been there before and give us a final 30 minutes of scoreless soccer so everyone can go home happy.
