The Buccaneers won Super Bowl LV defeating the Chiefs 31-9 and then had some fun post game celebrations. In addition to the field and in the locker room, they also had a closed doors party at the Florida Aquarium in Tampa that went into the wee hours of the morning. But at 8:30am that day, Tom Brady FaceTimed Buccaneers Quarterbacks Coach Clyde Christensen.

That is a maniacal competitive drive. The confetti hadn't even been on the field for 12 hours and this guy is thinking about next year's team. Truly another level that separates him from literally everyone else.

The Bucs QB Coach elaborated as to why Brady thought they would be better next year and something that made his 2020 season even that much more remarkable.

"I don't think he was 100 percent last year," Christensen continued.

"His quote, or close to a quote [during the FaceTime] was, 'Hey, I'm gonna get my knee fixed up and I'm gonna be better next year and you're gonna be excited about that,'" Christensen said.

Brady threw for 4,633 yards with 40 TDs to just 12 INTs in the regular season and added another 1,061 yards 10 TDs to just 3 INTs in the playoffs and he was less than 100%. He got surgery on his knee this off-season to undergo a cleanup from some stuff that was still floating around from his 2008 injury. So Brady should be feeling more spry this season and he thinks the Super Bowl Champion Bucs, who finished by winning their final eight games, will be better this season too.
