CHILLS I tell ya. 10 years ago today Nathan Horton sent the B's to the SCF with the OT winner vs. the Canadiens. Can't believe it's already been 10 years. CHILLS. The "BRUINS KNOCK OUT MONTREAL" from Jack Edwards is one of my favorite calls of my life time. Goosebumps city. One of those "where were you" moments.
Current B's have a big bounce back game tonight against the Penguins. Tuukka Rask in net. Connor Clifton goes back in for Steven Kampfer and Trent Frederic makes his return taking Jake DeBrusk's spot.
The bottom six has been a bit of a mess so hopefully JD gets the message and Frederic can give this team some jump that they've been lacking in two straight losses. Coyle has gone 27 games without a goal but I know the floodgates are gonna open as soon as he pots one. When DeBrusk returns I would think about sliding him onto the 2nd line and reuniting Ritchie - Coyle - Smith. They started training camp together and looked pretty good, I think Smith could help that line.. but we'll see what tonight brings without 74.
Time to right the ship and it starts tonight.
