The Nats May Have Lost 14-3 But Hernán Pérez Stole The Show By Stomping Around The Mound Max Scherzer Style After Recording A Strikeout With A 54 MPH Breaking Ball

This is how it's done, folks. Yeah, maybe the scoreboard isn't all rainbows and butterflies, but everyone knows the season doesn't officially start til April 14th anyway, so it's a wash. But any time you can get a position player in there and have him strike a dude out with a 54 MPH breaking ball and then strut around like you're Max Scherzer 1 out away from a no-hitter, you gotta do it. The Cardinals may have absolutely obliterated the Nats tonight, but Hernán Pérez stole the whole fucking show. Because not only did he have the above K, that was his 2nd strikeout! The first was a fucking buzzsaw.

Yes, he changed his windup and delivery the entire time. Just an unbelievable performance through and through.  Does that count in the standings? Well, not in Rob Manfred's MLB, that's for sure. No fun Manfred strikes again, smh.
