Milan Lucic Celebrated His 1,000th NHL Game By Getting Into A Bloody Fight At Center Ice

This is so fucking cool in the most "only in hockey" way possible. How else does someone commemorate their 1,000th game? In other sports they'd play a nice video on the screen, maybe give them a plaque or something. But how does Milan Lucic celebrate *his* 1,000th game? By fighting the toughest dude on the Maple Leafs at center ice. It's beautiful. As a wise man named Johnny Rzeznik once said "yeah you bleed just to know you're alive". And boy did he ever. 

And as of writing this blog, it's a tied 2-2 game, so Lucic can still get himself a Gordie Howe Hat Trick. Would be the cherry on top, for sure.
