Mother Of The Century Showed Up To Her Daughter's School Wearing Boxing Gloves To Fight A Student With Her Kid

KVUE - A Jacksonville mother is charged with child abuse after a fight with another student on the campus of Dupont Middle School last week, a Jacksonville police arrest report states.

Edith Riddle, 34, was arrested by Duval School Board Police on Thursday, the report states.

Riddle had just exited the school with her own daughter after a meeting with the vice principal on campus, according to the report. Rather than exiting the campus directly, the daughter walked out of her way through the cafeteria to engage the victim in a fight, the report says.

Riddle's daughter pushed the victim to the ground and threw some punches before the suspect also joined in punching the victim, who was lying on the ground, according to witnesses. A witness also said Riddle appeared to have a boxing glove attached to her left hand, according to the arrest report.

The report says Riddle had the boxing glove on her hand when she arrived at the school and had told the school it was super glued to her wrist and she couldn't remove it.

MVP! MVP! MVP!!!!! Put this woman in the hall of fame IMMEDIATELY! I have never seen a more ride or die, down ass mother in my life. She came to her daughter's school with a boxing glove ON HER HAND, READY TO FIGHT. It honestly does not get more bad ass than that. She literally had a meeting with the vice principal with a boxing glove on, and then proceeded to go kick a student's ass no more than 5 minutes later. Throw everything you thought you knew about parenting out the window, because this is the new gold standard.

This cannot be understated- she showed up to the school with a boxing glove on her hand. Walked into the principal's office with it on her hand. Did not remove the boxing glove. And then beat up a kid alongside her daughter with said boxing glove. It is easily one of my favorite stories in a long time (shrimp in Cinnamon Toast Crunch aside, of course).

I don't think you can prosecute this mother one iota either. Call it assault, call it abuse, call it what you want- I just call it good parenting. Any time you can team up with your daughter to beat up a kid in the cafeteria, you gotta do it.

And imagine how amazing this family's family reunions are. The fact we don't have a camera crew at their family reunion is a disservice to America. Let's get Dana B over there ASAP. If he's not already a part of this family, of course. I don't want to assume anything.
