#1 Illinois Is Taking #16 Drexel To The Fucking Woodshed HALFTIME LIVE BLOG

Nothing you didn't really expect coming into the game but that doesn't mean I won't be all jacked up with an 18-point halftime lead. End of the day we're talking the NCAA tournament and I could just as easily be sweating some historic upset. Maybe. But then again that would mean shutting down the most balanced offense this side of the Mississippi and I mean that literally. 

That's what a #1 seed looks like at halftime. Looking at maybe 4 guys in double figures and every starter shooting at least 50%. Imagine Curbelo gets going or the squad starts looking for the 3 in the 2nd half. Right now it's just a power and strength game and there's really no way Drexel hangs at that style. Kofi looks absolutely unstoppable as he plays his 40th something straight game without foul trouble. Absolute thrashing and thankfully we can take a deep breath heading into the 2nd half. The Illini were prepared and showed up. Not that I'm surprised just saying you don't want to be the guy who loses to fucking Drexel that's just a fact.
