Nate Diaz Goes Off On "Spoiled Little Bitch" Conor McGregor On The Five Year Anniversary Of Defeating Him
Damn, Nate! Dafuq?! What'd Conor do to deserve that today?!
For those of you who are like, "Robbie, what the fuck is Nate Diaz talking about here, can you translate that?", allow me to break it down for ya.
Five years ago today, Nate Diaz stepped into the main event of UFC 196 on a few weeks notice and shockingly handed Conor McGregor his first loss inside the octagon. Conor just completely gassed out (having prepared incorrectly for his first fight at 170lbs), got rocked by Diaz, and then tapped to a rear naked choke in the second round.
Nate wasn't surprised.
Less than six months later, Conor McGregor avenged that loss at UFC 202 with a majority decision win over Diaz where he chopped his legs down all night, showed a second wind of cardio that nobody saw coming, and dropped Nate THREE times over the course of five round - but Diaz doesn't count that because he didn't get finished and he thinks the judges screwed him or something….
That's what he's talking about when he says Conor "acts" like he beat him in that tweet.
He quite literally did beat him - and just about nobody in their right mind would disagree with that….
Except FightMatrix I guess. Always gotta be one.
Diaz then ends the tweet talking shit about Dustin Poirier, calling him a scared lil bitch, so I assume he's probably just upset that Conor is gonna get an immediate rematch with 'The Diamond' this Summer instead of him getting that fight, which he obviously wanted….
I'm excited to see if/when Conor responds, because as I said right after the Poirier fight - I don't care if they wait til they're each 50 years old to complete this trilogy, I'll ALWAYS be in for Diaz/McGregor talking shit on each other with an eventual fight in mind. They're incredible rivals and compliment each other perfectly.
Plus, Diaz can pull the old shit talking side of Conor out real quick with language like that. It's like Cactus Jack coming into the WWF….
