Ole Miss Pitcher Wes Burton Is a Complete Psychopath On The Mound And I Love It

Hand up, I usually don't pay too much attention to college baseball until the CWS gets going and the best of the best are playing in Omaha for the crown. Wes Burton has changed that. This dude is a straight up lunatic on the bump and is must watch whenever he toes the rubber. Crazy mechanics with psychopath demeanor and electric stuff. Yeah I'm in. I mean look at this dude. Are you kidding me? It's a 9-1 game!

No question this guy has murdered someone in his life before. Probably several. I love it. Mechanics similar to Cleveland's Karinchak too with a demeanor on point with Max Scherzer. I'm sure I'm not the first, nor the last person, to compare him to Max Scherzer.  I'm not comparing stuff per say, but having any comps to Mad Max is certainly a good thing. 

Ole Miss has quickly risen to number one in the country after their 4-0 start amidst a crazy beginning to the college baseball season. All that tells me is we're going to hear a lot more about this Burton fella moving forward. This 6'8" sophomore freak is a future stud in the making as far as I'm concerned. He posted a 1.42 ERA before his opening campaign to Division 1 baseball was cut short due to covid. We need more Wes Burtons in baseball.
