I own a small cafe that is located in the heart of the financial district of Boston. Most people in this area are working from home, so it is a ghost town right now. We have been in business for 19 years and have a very loyal customer base. Unfortunately, most of them are not in the city. We have been open for most of the pandemic to provide breakfast and lunch to the few workers that are here. As you can imagine there aren't very many of us still open, but we love our customers and employees. We are trying our best to keep our doors open for them. Our employees have families to support and this is really the only reason we haven't shut down. We have started to do dinner delivery to the suburbs to help make ends meet, but we are still losing money every month. We are hoping if we can make it until the summer we will start to see improvement in people coming back to work. It would be incredible to get some support in getting us to this point. Thank you for considering our cafe for this funding.
