This pool hall is like a family. Almost every customer has been going there for years. This place means more to us than Don knows and we need to keep it open through the pandemic. Don has done various fundraisers throughout the years for his community. We have had a few regulars pass away and he has held fundraisers to help the families with funeral expenses. Another couples house burned down and he raised money for them to get by until the could get their head above water. If any of us asked for something, he would never turn anyone away. This business has been a staple in our community. When this first started, we (the customers) returned the favor and did a fundraiser for him and raised 22k, but with him being still unable to serve alcohol, his days are numbered even if he is accepted for the new round of PPP. Since he mainly employs bartenders, his payroll is low so, the amount they give him is pennies and only covers his expenses for a month or two. Please help this kind man and a business that has supported our community for close to 15 years.
