I Refuse To Believe Tom Brady Told The NFL He "Destroyed" His Cell Phone

Look I’m going to be unbiased here, the cell phone thing doesn’t look great. Only problem is that there’s a zero percent chance that’s what Brady said. The NFL just decided to use that word because it’s such a loud one. It’s designed to do exactly this and make people think “Oh wow that looks bad.” The NFL is trying to control the media spin exactly like they did when they leaked the false report that the balls were 2 pounds too light when that wasn’t close to true. Brady could have said “Yeah, I get a new phone ever 4 months and donate my old one to those domestic violence charities they ask you about,” and it would have said he destroyed it in this memo. I guess he said he gives his old one to his assistant or something like that, but I refuse to believe he outright said “I ordered it to be destroyed.” He’s got too many lawyers who are too smart and would have undoubtedly coached him on what words to avoid. “Destroy” would be one of them. I’m not saying he has it, I’m not saying he keeps every phone he ever has because who does? I can’t tell you where any of my phones are except for my current one. But what I am saying is that Tom Brady did not go into that room and say he ordered his phone destroyed. He just didn’t.

And this is all besides the point because if Tom Brady gave his phone to the leaky ship that is the NFL then he’s a moron and I don’t want him as my quarterback. However, he’s too smart for that. You’re not getting his personal texts and pictures to ship over to ESPN.
