Blazers Fan Follows Through With His Promise And Started To Eat His Shoe On Twitter After Portland Won Last Night

I’d love to tell this guy that you don’t have to do all the wild shit you say while watching sports. But, rules are rules. If you put it on Twitter, you HAVE to do it. Ask WhiteSoxDave. If he just told his friends or said it out loud, it'd be different. The moment that goes on Twitter, you have to follow through. Now, we see this all the time right. Fans promising to eat things, get tattoos, send money, it rarely works out. Typically follows up with an LOL I was just joking, I'm not actually doing this and everyone moves on with their day. Well it started with the Blazers tweet right after they won:

I guess I should back up for a second. That's right, that list of Blazers beat the Sixers. You had Gary Trent dropping 24, you had Melo dropping 22. Shit, even former Washington State star CJ Elleby dropped 15. So that's where you get the Blazers chiming in. Nurkic, who has a fractured wrist and didn't play made sure to offer some words of advice

And what do you know, the kid actually started to do it:

I'm not quite sure how you actually eat a shoe fully, but I'm giving the kid credit here. He takes a chunk out of cloth or leather, which have fun shitting that out. I will say it should be bullshit that he put hot sauce on it. You have to eat a shoe raw if you promise it. Just take a chunk of cloth/leather out with your mouth and start chewing.

We need more of this. You make a promise on Twitter, you follow through with it. I'm sick of the 'I'll do x if y happens.' Those people don't deserve credit.
