It's Amazing How Many People Fell For A Troll Twitter Account That Said Tennessee Canceled Its Game vs Kentucky To Play Gonzaga

This is Richard West, the “#1 Breaking News Reporter in South Knoxville and Vice President of the Southeastern Sports Foundation.”

Only one small problem. None of that is real. I mean, the person running it is real, but everything about the account is fake. Including the tweet about Gonzaga playing Tennessee on Saturday. You see, this is what Richard West does: 

He takes something that's currently going on and just adds a ridiculous twist to it. People don't do research, people don't take 2 seconds to double check something so while all of college basketball Twitter is foaming at the mouth to see if Gonzaga is scheduling Baylor or Houston or someone good he fired off the tweet.

I will say this is the tweet that pisses me off the most: 

Dan Dickau is one of my favorite players of all time, but how are you going to tease that the game is already set and not tell us the opponent. Come on, just give us something. There's nothing better than some big time nonconference games this late in the year. I wish we got more of them. We need to know. You can't sit here and drop that and then make everyone guess. Houston is legit good and getting that sort of matchup would have been awesome. I am curious to see what Gonzaga is able to do.
