RA's Gambling Corner For Tuesday Night Is Here
Live look at Saturday's plays.
What started off as a nice week ended in a flurry of shit. So we're gonna try to repeat last week's start and with 13 games on the slate tonight, there's plenty to choose from.
The reason I don't post the Gambling Corner until dinnertime-ish is two-fold. First, I was conditioned this way over decades of pre-internet gambling when local shops typically opened after suppper. Second, I like to confirm my starting goalies before risking my dough on a team and sometimes we don't find out til later in the day. It doesn't always matter. But for some teams, it can result in a multi-dime swing if you're expecting #1 but #2 gets the nod.
Although New Jersey has been much-improved since last season, thanks largely to their goalie tandem, I think Philly is going to play pissed off tonight after getting embarrassed in Boston Saturday to complete the two-game sweep by the Bruins. So we are on the Flyers -0.5 in regulation only @ -105. We're also putting half of the amount of that play on the Flyers -1.5 +170.
We're also jumping on Columbus -115 as the Blue Jackets face their former goalie Sergei Bobrovsky and look to move into 1st place in the Central. We're also taking the Bruins -135 based on their advantage in net.
I'm also going to use Philly, Columbus, and Boston in some puck line (-1.5) side plays using parlays and/or action reverses.
Good luck to all.
