Tennessee's Entire Roster Is Entering the Transfer Portal Faster Than I Can Type

I have honestly never seen anything like this. In the span of 15 minutes, news has come out that seemingly every starter on Tennessee's roster has entered the transfer portal. They just keep coming.

So just to recap, that's a 2019 Freshman All-American with 140 tackles in his two seasons, another four-star linebacker who was second on the team in tackles — right behind the guy I just mentioned — a starting offensive lineman and a running back who rushed for more than 1,300 yards the past two seasons while splitting carries.

And oh yeah, all of this comes just a few days after Tennessee's starting left tackle and projected 2022 first round NFL Draft pick Wanya Morris packed his bags for Oklahoma.

Tennessee is going to be truly atrocious in 2021. It is what it is. This is brutal but was bound to happen when the University waited this long to fire Jeremy Pruitt. Literally the only thing that matters is getting this head coaching hire right. Don't overreact to this situation, rush the process and end up with another Derek Dooley.

I long for the day when Tennessee will simply not be the laughingstock of college football. Unfortunately, that day is not today.
