Kirill Kaprizov Had A Hell Of A Debut For Minny And Connor McDavid Did Connor McDavid Things

Minnesota Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov made his much-anticipated debut Thursday night in LA and he did not disappoint. The 23-year-old dynamic Russian had two assists and potted the OTGWG after a sweet steal.

That last bullet point above might be the most important. Kaprizov, after one game anyways, will make viewers switch over to the Minnesota Wild game and I don't think we've said that since Marian Gaborik suited up for them.

I wrote yesterday how the team has been too vanilla for too long. But the addition of Kaprizov changes that overnight. He became the first player in team history to record three points in his first game. He also became the third player in NHL history and first since 1990-91 to score an overtime winner his NHL debut. We got this clip as well. Gotta love the reaction from his teammates.
