God damn it. In case you don’t know what that’s in reference to, Tiger said this earlier in the week
“Well, retirement? I don’t have any AARP card yet, so I’m a ways from that….I’m still young. I’m not 40 yet. I know some of you guys think I’m buried and done, but I’m still right here in front of you.”
Then he shots a 76 at The Open today and the AARP sees and opportunity and brings the burn. It’s not even that sick of a burn. That’s not the point though. The point is Tiger sucks now and anybody thinks they can make fun of him at anytime. Well, they don’t think they can, they actually can make fun of him because he can’t stop won’t stop shooting over par and playing really terrible golf. That’s the most incredible thing about Tiger’s downfall. We’re talking about one of the top 2 most decorated golfers in the history of the world. He’s not just playing bad. He consistently hovering around last place in these tournaments. How does he not just luck into good rounds every once-in-awhile? He played well at the Masters but since then it’s been BRUTAL to watch. You’d think even with his injuries and his mental shortcomings he’d at least be able to coast on some talent but that doesn’t appear to be the case. Whatever. I still stand with Tiger. Always have always will. No Twitter burn from a bunch of old farts is gonna change that. Tweets like this will make his next win even sweeter (stick to it, Trent. It’ll pay off one day. It will).
