This Bears Fan Walking Into Lake Michigan Is Every Bears Fan Right Now

The Chicago Bears are a real life "this is fine" meme:

Just sitting in a house you know is on fire and there's no escape in the immediate future and George McCaskey, Ted Phillips, and the front office are all like, "this is fine"… except no, it's not fine. I saw this tweet this morning and wanted to vomit:

DISGUSTING how shitty this team has been for a long time now. Yeah, we have our once every 3-4 year 12-4 team that makes a playoff run, but the organization as a whole just stinks. Stinks to high heavens. It stinks so bad it's causing Bears fans to perform some pagan rituals where they walk into 30 degree water in the middle of Chicago Januarys.

I'm not kidding when I say this, this is the most pissed off I've ever seen Eddie. I've seen him pissed off before for stupid arguments around the office, but nothing like this. He's livid with the organization on a macro level, and the post season press conference from earlier today on a microlevel. I won't admit, I don't envy him right now. I have too many things that make me angry to add the Bears to my personal list. Am I pissed? Sure. But I'm apathetic more than anything. This team sucks and this team will continue to suck until the guys in charge of stoping the team from sucking are removed from office. It's as simple as that - they have failed time and time again in finding the right fit at both head coach and GM to be able to trust them moving forward.

The only issue is is that there's no way Phillips or McCaskey are gone. The Bears will go anywhere from 7-9 to 9-7 next year, maybe sneak into the postseason and once they can both Nagy and Pace, we'll be right back where we started. If I've said it once I've said it a million times - time is a flat circle.
