Wake Up With Tom Brady Mic’d Up in the Bucs Wild Card Game

I can’t remember the last time Tom Brady wore a mic when he was with the Patriots. But it feels like for the last several years the only time you heard him was when his voice was picked up by the mic on Julian Edelman or Joey Bosa or someone. But now here he is, in all his glory. Encouraging guys. Supporting them. Getting them focused. Correcting them when need be. Leading them, in every sense of the word.

On one level, for a Pats fan it’s hard to listen to. I feel like Robin Williams in “Mrs. Doubtfire,” watching his ex and his kids getting along so great with Pierce Brosnan. Who not only is handsomer and in better shape, he has the unmitigated gall to treat them great and make them happy. On another level, you have to respect that he’s still the one you fell in love with and feel good he’s happy. Basically all the mixed emotions of the past 12 months in two minutes. Sigh.
