Unfair take and you all know it. It's easy to talk that shit when you're about to play the JV team on Sunday. The Cleveland Browns, at full-strength, would give the Pittsburgh Steelers all they could handle and then some this weekend. In a covid free world, or a world where the NFL commissioner cared about Cleveland as much as he cares about the Steelers or Ravens or literally anyone else, I would be saying the Browns are the better team on Sunday. I truly mean that. Everyone knows that Pittsburgh was the most overrated 11-0 team in the history of the sport. And they've now lost 4 of 5 and want nothing to do with the Browns if everyone was here and healthy. But unfortunately, the Browns are without their Head Coach, at least half a dozen starters, haven't practiced all week, and their quarterback hasn't thrown a football in 5 days. And while the NFL has accommodated teams in far better situations than the one we're currently in, the game is still on as scheduled. The Steelers should win this game by a hundred points. There's no chance the Browns win. And Juju Smith-Schuster knows it. And that's why he's able to say this.
Keep this same energy next year Juju. Or where was it last week? You were on the field last Sunday. We've got more players out this week than you held out last week. And your bum ass couldn't beat these "same old Browns" then?
I find it very hard to believe that Juju would be saying this is the Browns covid list didn't include Kevin Stefanski, Joel Bitonio, Kevin Johnson, Denzel Ward, Ronnie Harrison, Harrison Bryant, KhaDarel Hodge, Malcom Smith, Javon Patterson, Montrel Meander, and FOUR other offensive assistant coaches. Oh, and Oliver Vernon tore his achilles last week. Man, I wish we could just shut this guy up and dance all over the 50 yard line on Sunday. I'm so tired of hearing from and seeing this mediocre player. But he can do whatever he wants when he's walking in to play the JV team.
Thanks for the bulletin board material though, Dabo. I mean, Juju. Better not lose this one....
