Wake Up With "I'll Do 4 U" From Father MC

Father MC had a couple of hits in the early '90s including this one featuring a young Mary J. Blige on back-up vocals just a couple of years before she became a household name and had a superstar career. A fast-rap love song , "I'll Do 4" still holds up 30 31 year later. It was yet another hit from Uptown Records at a time when it was producing tons of new artists.

While brushing up on Father MC for this blog, I discovered that he posed for PLAYGIRL 25 years ago. Good for him. And good for you for having this tune to kick off Thursday.
