Hi, my name is Amy Breidenbach.
I own the Bayview Tavern in Seaford NY on Long Island. I honestly cried when I saw you on Tucker. I keep waiting for some sort of help to keep my business open.
I’ve been in business for 12 years and have never experienced anything like this. I am located in a waterfront community and managed to get through Hurricane Irene & Superstorm Sandy but this is much worse…there is just no end in sight. I’ve always helped my community in any way that I can and will always continue to do so but I’m embarrassed to ask for help and even more to say I don’t know how much longer I can hold on.
I have kept my core staff employed and couldn’t stand the thought of letting them go especially during the Christmas season.
I’m behind in my rent. My most recent bill is attached. I’m also behind in my electric bills. I’m scared to death they will shut it off. If there is any way you feel I am privy to your assistance I will be forever grateful.
